New Distribution Center in Sosnowiec

Construction of our new Distribution Center will begin later this year
in Sosnowiec. It will support the development of drugstore and e-commerce sales in Poland and abroad. Construction itself will take about a year, and the launch is planned for January 2026.

What don't you know about the new DC?

- It will have an area of 20,000 sqm.

- The warehouse will be built and leased to Hebe by leading warehouse space developer Panattoni.

- The warehouse, will be built according to Hebe's specifications, which take into account the growth of the product range, the need to reduce lead times and increase productivity.

For this project to come to fruition, almost all departments of our company were involved. You must know that the next stages require the efforts and efforts of a great many people.

• We have already completed several phases of the project, which were led by the Logistics Department, with key support from the Finance Department, IT, Legal Department, Health and Safety Department
  and Security.
• The launch of the new Distribution Center requires the implementation of a new warehouse management system (WMS), which will be SAP EWM - selected as the target system in the Jeronimo Martins Group. 
• The SAP EWM implementation project was launched on November 14 and is being worked on by the Logistics Department (supply chain management, supply chain analysis, warehouse operations, transportation, e-commerce), IT Department, Legal Department, Core Data team, Operations Controlling team, Financial Controlling team.  A total of about 40 people.
• The launch of the Distribution Center also involves the implementation of a number of technical solutions that mechanize and streamline warehouse processes. At the moment, teams from the Logistics, Health and Safety, and IT Departments are working to select an appropriate system provider.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but the opening of the new Distribution Center, will have a huge impact on the operation of our entire company.
